Miss Satori in a new dress

Satori modeled a clothing line tonight for me, but first, we had to model one of her latest favorite outfits! Naartjie just came to Flatiron Mall and we love their outfits! There was a pink dress, pants, and hat she literally wore 4 days in a row until I made her don this crimson outfit which is equally cute!

I know I haven’t kept up with my photo blog the past week, the birthday was alot to plan for, then the exciting day when our presidential candidate was elected! I am now catching up on editing a bunch of shoots, so look forward to a flurry of blog updates this week!

Satori’s Birthday Party

My daughter turned 4 today! Yesterday we celebrated in a big way, starting with face painting, parachute games, and ended with a dance party and the adults playing Rock Band!

The new owner of one of my all-time favorite baby carriers - the FreeHand Mei Tai! (I used to sell these in our baby sling shop, they did very well!)

Little puppy face…

And her doggy family:

And this cute little Fuchsia girl, with a fuchsia butterfly of course!

It was so much fun that the adults participated in the face painting. :)

The dragon family:

My shy little princess who hates to be sung “Happy Birthday” too. (She had to recover by hanging out on our deck by herself for 20 minutes.)

And dancing with bubbles is always fun!

Gross Reservoir

On a spur of the moment decision, we took a trip to Colorado’s Gross Reservoir just at the perfect time - sunset. Nice golden glow… and the weather was perfect! Satori and Maddie had fun running around, although mother was a bit nervous with such steep slopes down to the water!

I have an extremely busy week (end of October), preparing for a HUGE birthday party for Satori, a few Halloween events and parents visiting from out of town, so I apologize for the lack of photos and blog updates. I will be posting a few as soon as I get a breather!

Rocky Mountain Pumpkin Patch

Trying to post some different photos today, other than just the typical cute Satori photos. :)

Finally it was a nice pumpkin patch kinda day. No rain, plenty of sun, some clouds (photographers love clouds), and a great time at our FAVORITE pumpkin patch!

Usually I’m stuck walking around with 2 cameras, one with a very LONG, HEAVY lens, with my Shootsac, but I got to go down the inflatable slide with Tori and David ended up with the heavy stuff for a while. Here he is having fun shooting Satori.

Kung Fu Girl!

Here’s a very spontaneous photo shoot we did on the spur of the moment!

And just as spontaneously, I grabbed the wig of my mannequin to see how Satori looked with long bouncy hair!
